THE SALVATION ARMY IS SUPERGROUPING AT PARACHUTE 2010!The Territorial Youth Department has registered The Salvation Army as a Super Group for the2010 Parachute Festival being held at Mystery Creek, Hamilton from 29th January to 1st February.
By doing so, The Salvation Army will be designated a large camping area onsite at the Parachute Festival. So, anyone who buys their Parachute ticket through The Salvation Army Territorial Youth Department will be able to camp in this specified area. (Please note: Anyone who purchases Parachute tickets outside of The Salvation Army Super Group will not be able to tent inside The Salvation Army Super Group allocated area.)
How much? 
$125 (including GST) per ticket
When do we have to order by?The cut-off date to order tickets is to THQ by Tuesday 15th December
Who can buy tickets?
Tickets for The Salvation Army Super Group will only be sold to Salvation Army corps / centre groups. We reserve the right to decline direct sales to individuals, as payments will be processed through corps /centres only.
How do we order tickets?Contact your youth leader and/or corps officer for information re: ordering tickets.
TERMS & CONDITIONSPayment
Corps Officers / Centre Managers must be aware that tickets are being ordered, as payment will be made by journal entry to the corps / centre.
The journal will be prepared by the Territorial Youth Department and sent to corps / centre.
Group leaders from corps / centres are responsible for collecting payment from individuals. This money then needs to be deposited into corps / centre funds in order for journal transactions to be processed.
Tickets (wristbands) will NOT be sent until the journal has been processed.
Only adult tickets are available in the Super Group arrangement – supporter, child or family discounts are not available.
Refunds The Salvation Army will not refund any money for cancellations. The amount for tickets that have been ordered but not yet paid for will still be journalled, even if the booking is cancelled.
The Salvation Army Territorial Youth Department cannot refund tickets or wristbands that have been lost or stolen. Sorry, but if this happens, you will have to buy a new one.
Responsibilities & Liabilities The Salvation Army Territorial Youth Department will NOT be responsible for and will NOT be providing transport, food, tents, medical care or supervision of young people at any time throughout the Parachute weekend.
Group leaders from the corps/ centre are fully responsible for the people they bring to Parachute, at all times.
The Salvation Army Territorial Youth Department will not be liable for any loss or damage to people or their possessions at Parachute Festival 2010 (including within The Salvation Army Super Group area).
As per other Salvation Army youth events, a minimum leader-youth ratio of 1:8 is recommended.
All Parachute Festival weekend rules, code of conduct and other terms and conditions as mentioned on the Parachute website are applicable:
